Shuddhik

Overview

A full-stack single-product e-commerce platform built for Shuddhik, with a complete shopping experience from product discovery to payment and order fulfillment.

The platform uses Next.js for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for the backend, MongoDB for data management, Cloudinary for product media, and PhonePe for secure online payments. A dedicated React-based admin dashboard provides complete control over products, users, reviews, and orders.

What Admins Can Do

• Manage Products: Create, update, and delete product information, pricing, descriptions, and product media through the admin dashboard.
• Manage Users: View and manage registered customers and their account information.
• Manage Reviews: Monitor and manage customer reviews and feedback.
• Manage Orders: Track and manage orders from a centralized admin dashboard.
• Manage Product Media: Upload and manage product images using Cloudinary.

E-commerce & Payment Workflow

• Product Storefront: A responsive single-product shopping experience built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Secure Payments: Integrated PhonePe Payment Gateway for secure online transactions.
• Order Processing: Confirmed payments automatically create and process customer orders.
• Shipping Automation: Integrated Shiprocket API to automatically push confirmed orders for shipping and fulfillment.
• Order Tracking: Centralized order management allows admins to monitor the complete order lifecycle.

Media Management

Cloudinary is integrated for handling product images and media uploads.

This keeps product media optimized and accessible while allowing administrators to manage product assets directly through the dashboard.

Admin Dashboard

A custom React-based admin dashboard was developed to give complete control over the e-commerce platform.

Admins can manage:

The dashboard reduces the need for direct database or code-level changes for routine store management.

Why I built this

The goal was to build a complete e-commerce ecosystem rather than just a storefront.

The platform needed to handle the complete journey — from product management and customer interaction to secure payments, order processing, and shipping fulfillment. The architecture was designed around automating as much of the post-purchase workflow as possible, particularly through the PhonePe and Shiprocket integrations.

Integrations

PhonePe Payment Gateway

Integrated PhonePe for handling secure online payments and validating successful transactions before processing orders.

Shiprocket API

Integrated Shiprocket to automate the shipping workflow by pushing confirmed orders directly to the fulfillment platform.

This eliminates the need for manually entering every confirmed order into the shipping system.

Deployment

The application is deployed on Hostinger VPS, with the backend and production environment configured for reliable operation.
