Journey
A timeline of my learning, projects, and milestones.
My Journey
A concise timeline of my journey into tech — self-taught, from a non-technical background, with no formal guidance to begin with.
The Beginning
- Started out from a completely non-technical background — no CS degree, no mentor, no roadmap.
- Learned everything from scratch through free online resources (mainly YouTube): frontend, backend, databases, deployment, and cloud.
- Early on, the biggest struggle wasn't the coding itself — it was not knowing what to learn, or how much was "enough." No guidance meant a lot of trial and error.
- Stuck with it anyway — consistency and hard work (and belief in myself) turned that self-taught foundation into something real.
Internships & Hackathons
- Did internships and participated in hackathons to build real-world experience alongside self-learning.
- Worked on projects including Meetzy, Sohwais, and SocialSphere.
- Gained hands-on experience across the MERN stack, PostgreSQL with Prisma, GraphQL, and full deployment ownership.
Professional Experience
- Worked at Infotech Agency and Websitoz, handling end-to-end development and deployment of custom CMS web applications.
- Converted self-taught skills into a full-time role — without a technical degree.
Community & Organising
- Organiser of a national-level hackathon at NIT Delhi.
- Organised developer workshops with Microsoft, as part of a community team.
Today
- Continuing to build, ship, and grow — proof that a non-technical start doesn't have to limit where you end up.
